I know it seems strange to promote physical activity to deal with fatigue. However, those who exercise regularly are less likely to experience fatigue in general.
Getting your body moving helps it adapt and get used to physical activity. When your body sees that you plan to push it physically, it will prepare itself and boost your energy levels. After some time, you’ll notice that you have extra energy even when you aren’t exercising.
Drink More Water
Dehydration causes major fatigue if left unchecked. If you don’t drink enough water, it impairs most of what you’ll try to do throughout the day. Water is essential for physical health. Without enough of it, your mind will run on less energy and your body will get exhausted much quicker than it should.
Not only do you need to get enough sleep each day, but you also need to sleep at the same time every day. If you sleep at irregular hours, your body clock gets thrown off and doesn’t know when it will next get to rest.
The body clock helps us to go into REM sleep for the longest period possible during the night. Irregular sleeping methods throw this off and leave you feeling tired even if you had enough hours of sleep.
Eat Like a Bird
We’re trained into thinking there are three meals a day we must eat and that’s it. While we do need to eat regularly just as we do with sleep, we shouldn’t confine ourselves to three set meals. Many people benefit from eating six or seven smaller meals over the course of the day.
Eating smaller meals allows your body to digest food over the entire course of the day rather than forcing it to digest a huge meal all at once. Eating smaller meals more regularly can provide you with more energy over the day and helps reduce the risk of weight gain.
